Question

Are Windows-based drivers included with the 3G8F5-SLK21/22 SYSMAC Link Support Board (ISA bus)?

Answer

Only a DOS driver is included with the ISA-bus Board, and the Windows-based drivers are sold separately. The SFGW-RT-EV3 FinsGateway Ver.3 is required to use Windows 98, Me, NT 4.0, or 2000. (Windows drivers are included with the PCI-bus Boards (3G8F7-SLK11/SLK21).)

 


3G8F5-SLK21/SLK22 ISA-bus Boards

Package contents: ISA-bus Board, user's manual, and DOS driver


Drivers: The specific Board's driver for DOS is included on a floppy disk.


The SFGW-RT-EV3 FinsGateway Ver.3 (sold separately) is required to use these Boards with Windows 98, Me, NT 4.0, or 2000.

 


Development of DOS Applications:


A library for MS-C and Quick BASIC is included in the floppy disk.

 


Development of Windows Applications:


The FinsGateway SDK Ver.3 (sold separately) is required to develop applications in Visual C++ 6.0.


SCPL-SYS-V2 Compolet Ver.2 (sold separately), which is ActiveX Control, is required to develop applications in Visual Basic 5.0 or 6.0.

 


3G8F7-SLK11/SLK21 PCI-bus Boards

Product contents: PCI-bus Board, setup manual, and Driver CD-ROM


Drivers: The specific Board's FinsGateway for Windows 98 NT 4.0, and 2000 is included on the CD-ROM.


Development of Windows Applications


A library for development of applications in Visual C++ 6.0 (for that specific Board) is included in the CD-ROM. The user's manual for the Board is available separately.


SCPL-SYS-V2 Compolet (sold separately), which is ActiveX Control, is required to develop applications in Visual Basic 5.0 or 6.0.
