Question
What kind of precautions are there for using the
K2CM Motor Protective Relay in
an inverter circuit?
Answer
Mount the K2CM on the secondary side of the inverter, as shown below, and
turn OFF the reverse-phase switch.

* There is a possibility that an error will
occur in the operating value due to the inverter specifications or
settings. Test operation first, then make the setting.
* The application conditions will depend on the length of the load-side
wiring, the inverter carrier frequency, the basic frequency, and the load
condition. The various conditions may cause an error in the operating
value of the overload element. It is recommended that an operating test be
done before actual use.
