Can the pushbutton switches be used with a microload?

Answer


Yes. Some of the Pushbutton Switches can be used.

Applicable models (minimum application load)


1) A16 Series Pushbutton Switch: DC5V1mA

(exception: A165E-[]-[]-01/02: DC5V160mA)

2) All A3D Series: DC5V1mA

3) All A3C Series: DC5V1mA

4) A22 Switch Unit for minimum load: DC5V1mA

5) A3P Minimum Load Series: C5V1mA

 

A3P Minimum Load Series

6) A3K Minimum Load Series: DC5V1mA

 

A3K Minimum Load Series


Contact faults may occur if a switch for general loads is used for opening and closing microloads.

Refer to the diagram below and select the appropriate switch for the range of load used.

Even when Microload Switches are used within the range indicated in the diagram, if inrush current occurs at switching, it may cause heavy contact wear and shorten the life of the Switch. Use a contact protection circuit when necessary.
