Full Omron PLC Embedded in Vector Drive!
SEPTEMBER 03, 2004 (ASIA PACIFIC) - Omron introduces a
PLC option board which integrates seamlessly inside the
enclosure of the powerful 3G3RV series AC Vector Drives.
The PLC board is programmed using Omron’s standard CX-Programmer
software and has full access to all the inverter parameters as
well as digital & analogue I/O.
Integrated Intelligence for
Enhanced Control
The PLC board has 6 in/4 out digital
I/O, high speed encoder interface, 2 serial ports, real time
clock/calendar and DeviceNet slave connection.
In addition it also has a CompoBus/S
master allowing expansion of up to 256 I/O from the drive. With
an instruction set of over 200 functions, including special mechatronics functions (counter, PID, filter etc) the fully
featured PLC option board for the 3G3RV is the perfect solution
for applications such as Cranes, Winding/Rewinding, Position &
multi-axis control, Pump Sequencing & dosing control, Remote
Control, Water treatment, HVAC, lift control, intelligent
conveyor, and many more.
The PLC/inverter combination gives
you precise control over all processes in your production line
