Reliable Color Fiber Sensor Featuring a
Color Sensing Engine

The new E3X-DAC-S Color Fiber Sensor (RGB) is designed for use on
standard or high-speed production lines in the food packaging,
automotive, semiconductor and electronics industries. It offers
fast and easy detection of different colored components,
product markings or semi-transparent objects by correctly
sorting parts by color, and by detecting incorrect colored
components.
Using a white LED, it detects the reflected or
transmitted light and compares it with a stored RGB ratio. The
system compensates for variations in both light intensity and
distance, to ensure stable detection during the production
process.
The E3X-DAC-S Color Fiber Sensor can help increase production
accuracy and efficiency. This color sensor has been designed
using the popular E3X fiber amplifier platform, so that it can
be easily integrated into existing machine designs. The sensor
heads can be selected according to space, mounting and
application requirements.
